Inspired by historic parades on The Alameda (such as the “Rose Carnival” beginning in 1896 and the “Fiesta de Las Roses” in the 20s and 30s), the R,W&B Parade was chosen as an appropriate event to celebrate our neighborhood, our city, and our country.

The Mosaic Gardens

The Mosaic Gardens in Campbell is filled with mosaic art that artist and educator Nancy Meyer has created and continues to create. Nancy will give a brief history of Mosaic art, and will demonstrate the tools and materials she uses.

Under Nancy‘s guidance, each student will be provided with a substrate (6" x 3.5") and various materials to choose from (stained glass, sea glass, beads, ceramics and many other embellishments) for creating a unique mosaic art piece. Students will take home their completed mosaic artwork ready for display.
